Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) published by STIKes Namira Madina. Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) is a scientific journal which aims to disseminate various scientific writings to improve public health, especially maternal and child health. Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) is published periodically (twice a year), in October and May.
Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) provides immediate open access to its content to all readers. The articles in Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) include developments and researches in public health, especially maternal and child health.
Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) accepts manuscripts from original research articles, reviews, clinical case, research letters, and letters to the editor, including:

Peer Review Process
The submitted manuscript will be checked by an editor whether it is suitable with our focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw in four weeks. Staff will check whether the requirements are complete in one week. The authors will be given two weeks after notification is sent to complete the incomplete requirements. Failure to complete will make the manuscript rejected without being reviewed.
The manuscript is checked by the Editor. Manuscript is reviewed by two members. Reviewers come from various institutions with their expertise. The submitted paper is evaluated with double-blind peer review.
The manuscript are:
- Accepted without correction,
- Revised with small corrections,
- Revised with many corrections, and
- Rejected.
The corresponding author is given the opportunity to improve the article based on the advice received from the reviewer. Certain information whether articles received and published or rejected is given to the author of the sender in writing. The duration of the review process can be up to 3 months. If the author does not fulfill the process within 6 months, the publisher has right to stop it.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. We are continuously working with our author communities to select the best choices of license options: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license
Archiving
This journal utilizes LOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Duties of Publisher
- The publisher of Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) is responsible for publishing manuscripts that have gone through the editing, review and layout process in accordance with the publishing rules of Scientific Journals.
- The publisher of Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) is responsible for ensuring academic freedom for the editors and editorial member in carrying out their respective duties.
- The publisher of Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) is responsible for maintaining privacy and protecting intellectual property and copyright, and editorial freedom.
Duties of Editor
- Editor of Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are suitable for publication through editorial board meetings which refer to applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism.
- In the process of reviewing and accepting manuscripts, the editorial team of Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) is based on the principle of equal treatment in making decisions to publish manuscripts without distinguishing between the race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality or political ideology of the author.
- Editor and editorial team of Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) will not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts or manuscripts unless with permission from the author.
- Unpublished manuscripts will not be used by research editors of Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) for their own purposes and will be returned directly to the author.
Duties of Mitra Bestari
- Mitra Bestari Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) assists editors in making editorial decisions on incoming manuscripts/manuscripts.
- Mitra Bestari Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) is responsible for the recommendations for the manuscripts it reviews.
- The review of the manuscript is carried out objectively, and is supported by clear arguments.
- Mitra Bestari Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) is responsible for quotations, references, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism for the manuscripts it reviews.
- Mitra Bestari Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) must always maintain the confidentiality of information and not use information from the manuscripts it reviews for personal gain/interest.
Duties of Authors
- Authors must present manuscripts resulting from their thoughts or research clearly, honestly, and without duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism.
- Author is responsible for the confirmation submitted for the manuscript that has been written.
- Author must indicate references to the opinions and works of other people cited.
- Authors must write manuscripts ethically, honestly and responsibly, in accordance with applicable scientific writing regulations.
- Author does not mind if the manuscript undergoes editing during the review and layout process without changing the substance or main idea of the writing.
Plagiarism Check
Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) does not accept any plagiarism in the submitted manuscripts. The editors of Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) will screen all submitted manuscripts for plagiarism using the Turnitin plagiarism checker. Plagiarism checks will be performed at least twice: once immediately after the manuscript is submitted to the journal, and again after the final proofreading before publication. Authors are expected to ensure minimal similarities; however, similarities exceeding 20% will not be tolerated. Any manuscript failing to meet this requirement will be returned to the corresponding author for correction.
Copyright Transfer Agreement
Authors who publish manuscripts in the Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) agree to the following conditions:
- Copyright in each manuscript belongs to the author.
- The author acknowledges that Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) has the right to be the first to publish with a license Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license.
- Authors can submit articles separately, arrange non-exclusive distribution of manuscripts that have been published in this journal into other versions by acknowledging that the manuscript has been first published in the Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN).

Article Processing Charge
Article processing charge for publication in Journal of Midwifery Namira (JMN) is IDR 200,000. Payment is due after the manuscript is accepted for publication in the journal. The journal does not require any submission charge.
